Customer: Individual or legal entity, who uses the services of Gofer LLC.

Customer, when registering on the site, is obliged to agree to the following conditions:

1. Transportation fee, parcel takeout, weight rounding and payment.

1.1 Shipping cost from America is calculated by actual weight. If parcels size exceeds (121x100x152 cm/ 48x40x60 inch) it will be calculated in volumetric weight.

1.2 It is necessary to pay the cost of shipping, within the 30 days after arrival in Georgia, only by the payment methods indicated on the website - www.gofer.ge.

1.3 If the customer does not take out the parcel within 30 days from the arrival of the shipment in Georgia, for each missed day during the next month, 30 Tetri will be added per kilogram.

1.4 In case package arrives at the Gofer warehouse and is transported, the customer is obliged to pay the transportation fee. The obligation remains valid even if the package is handed over to the state.

1.5 When taking out the parcel, the user is obliged to check its content on the spot. In case of damage, the person, who is responsible must be notified on the spot. The relevant service will review the information and the customer will receive an answer within a reasonable time.

2. Parcel repacking service in order to reduce volumetric weight.

2.1 In order to reduce the volumetric weight, Gofer LLC repacks parcels free of charge.  If repacking is possible, depending on the contents and packaging of the parcel, we will repack the cargo in order to reduce the volumetric weight.

 

2.2 Electrical appliances and fregile items are not repackaged for its safety.

3. Courier service.

 

3.1 If the customer wishes the parcel to be delivered to his home, Gofer LLC will ensure the delivery to any city or district throughout Georgia, and such service will be provided completely free of charge.

3.2 In case of parcels, the cost of transportation of which will be paid before the day of the arrival and if the customer will have indicated “courier service”, the courier will distribute such parcels.

3.3 The parcel will be delivered to the address indicated by the customer, the address can be changed before the arrival of the parcel.

3.4 In case the courier is not be able to reach the phone number indicated by the customer, he/she will return the parcel to the office and will try to deliver it to the customer on the next working day.

3.5 When receiving the parcel, the customer is obliged to present an identity document (ID card or passport).

3.6 The courier is not obliged to carry the parcels to the floor.

3.7 In regions, parcels will be delivered on the second or third day after arrival in Georgia.

3.8 When receiving the package, the customer must check the parcel in the presence of the courier and in case of external damage the customer must file the claim.

4. Parcel delivery to a third person.

4.1 The third person can receive a parcel in case he/she presents:

The identity card of the receiver, as well as his/her own identity document.

4.2 Notarized power of attorney, identity card of the receiver and payment receipt.

5. Air flights and transportation.

5.1 Gofer LLC is not responsible for flight delays due to certain reasons.

5.2 Gofer LLC does not take responsibility for the parcels delivered to the foreign office by a company that does not have a mandatory signature confirmation service for the delivery of the parcel, and therefore, in the event of a dispute, such companies will not be able to confirm the delivery of the cargo to the warehouse of the agent.

6. Declaring the parcel

6.1 Declaring (indication of the name of the sender of the product, its code and price) is necessary on the website of the Gofer.

6.2 The declared amount must match the actual value of the purchased item. The customer is fully responsible for the correctness of the information. It is impossible to make changes to the declaration filled once.

6.3 In case the customer does not fill the declaration of the shipment (declaration of the value of the postal shipment), the shipment will not be transported to Georgia.

7. Customs clearance

7.1 According to the legislation of Georgia, parcels, price of which exceed 300 GEL, or 30 kilograms are the subjects of customs clearance.

7.2 Parcels ready to be customs duty-paid are delivered only to offices with a special document (Form 4, which we will prepare and hand over to you together with the parcel). Declaration service is free with us.

7.3 The customer is obliged to pay the customs duty within 30 days from the day of receiving the parcel at any bank in Georgia.

7.4 After the customer receives the parcel that is ready to be customs duty-paid and signs the Form 4, all responsibility will be entrusted to the customer.

8. Limited products.

8.1 Gofer LLC disclaims responsibility for the transportation of prohibited products.

8.2 The company will impose a fee sanction on the customer, in case the customer still orders the prohibited products, due to which Gofer LLC will have a material loss.

9. Privacy policy.

9.1 The personal information of the customer on website is protected and will not be transferred to third party(ies) except in cases provided by law.

9.2 We process your data only to improve the service and provide you with the best offers. We take care and protect your personal data, in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection.

Refund Policy

1. The amount paid for additional services to the Gofer will be fully refunded in case if the parcel will be delivered without receiving ordered services.

2. In case of the rare exception, if the insured parcel will be lost during the transportation, the cost of the shipping and the item as well will be fully refunded. For the implementation of the above-mentioned rule, it is necessary to deliver the parcel at Gofer’s US warehouse by the courier and register it in our system.

3. If the safely delivered parcel at Gofer’s US warehouse will be damaged during the transportation, in this case, you will be fully refunded for both the cost of transportation and the purchased item as well (based on the invoice).
